Messiah Lutheran School
There will be a Preschool Christmas Program on Thursday, December 18 at 6:30 PM. All
are invited to come see the little ones sing Christmas songs.
The preschoolers and school-agers will be having "Happy Birthday Jesus" parties during December as well as making lots of crafts and goodies for the holiday.
The school will be opened on Christmas Eve until 4:30pm and then will be closed on the 25th and 26th. We will also be closed on New Year's Day. |
Children's Breakfast & Movie
December 6, 2008
Messiah Youth will be hosting a pancake breakfast open to children and their families at 8:30 to 9:30 AM. A love offering will be taken to cover the cost of the breakfast and help raise funds for our youth's trip to the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
Immediately following the breakfast, until 12:30 PM, the children will be invited to stay for a time of activities and a movie (Nestor, the Long Eared Christmas Donkey) while parents have some free time on their own for errands or fun. Worship
The "Placing of the Greens" took place on November 30th.
On December 14th at 6:00 pm, we will start our "Prepare Ye The Way of The Lord" celebration. We will put the ornaments on the tree and set out the creche. Our evening will close with the "Grand Illumination" of the tree while we enjoy eating pizza and cookies and sing carols.

Lessons and Carols
will be presented on December 14th, during the Sunday School hour (9:30 -10:30 am). The Senior Youth group will be leading this program. Please plan to come, hear, and sing your favorite Christmas tunes. You don’t have to be a kid to come and enjoy. Click

Congratulations
As a reminder and with an expression of thanksgiving, congratulations go out to Pastor Lou on December 8th, the one-year anniversary of his ordination and installation as Messiah’s pastor. Make sure and tell Pastor Lou how glad we are the Lord God sent him our way. God bless you!

Christian Education
Advent Activities for children will begin Nov. 30 and continue through the 4 Sundays of Advent. These activities will be for children of Sunday School age and will occur after the children’s sermon with the children coming back into the congregation for communion. These activities will occur during second service.
